Team rider Johnnie Paxson had a night photo shoot up at Timberline with a few well known pro's (Andy Finch) and pretty much made them all look like beginners. He crushed it with some Cab 1080's, and a F-ing double back flip late 180. It was crazy to see the footage to say the least. To hold you over unitl you see the footage, here are some photo's of the night complements of "Scott Askins". As well, our other Team rider Andre Cameron who is also killin it has a sick night shot on the hip. Click here.

Northern Alliance and a few of our team riders (Corey Noble, Matt Guess, Jon Montana, and Johhnie Paxson) went down to Bend for the U.S. Cellular Rail jam this weekend. We had 3 of our riders outta 6 total there in the finals. They had a few best and first trick prizes throughout the night as well and our team won every bit of money you could possibly win. First person to Backside 180 down the bombd drop got $70.00 (Matt Guess), first person to handplant the log feature got $120.00 (Johnnie Paxson). Then there was the end prize for 1st place which was $1000.00. Johnnie Paxson got 1st, ______ 2nd, and Corey Noble got 3rd. We will update the wedsite tomorrow with pictures from the event. Both killed it and prooved why they should be in an event like this. In the end Megan Ginter got 3rd place and won $1,250.00 which she needs for sure. She beat out some pretty big names and got on the podium like I new she would. Joel and Megan you guy made NA so proud of you and thanks for the love you show us every day. |

So since NA can't get there shop pass program working yet we took a few of the crew up to this water tower at Timerline and sessioned it. Jacob Reeths, Johhnie Paxson, and Nate Langer all hiked up and set up this wierd bomb drop that was pretty scary looking and then set up this tree jib that wasn't gnarly but was super fun and the photo's looked sick. Click here to check it out
JUNE 10 2007 SUNDAY
Sorry for the slackin on the updates but we've been super busy with editing our movie "Hood Rich" that is coming out soon. Last week a few of the NA crew went up to Timberline and session these lift towers that where in the parking lot. It was one of the gnarliest things that I've done in a while and we're lucky we got a shoot and no one got hurt. You'll see the footage in the movie comin out in the fall. Team rider Johnnie Paxson destroyed that set up and pretty much anyone else that had balls to hit it got broken off pretty good. Jacob Reeths and Nate Langer got pretty bloody from the set up and Jacob has a broken rib from it as well. Click here to see a few pic's from that day.
MAY 26 2007 MONDAY
The NA crew went up to the U of O rail jam on Thursday and represented hard. The little man from NA got Riders Choice and Jonmon from NA got some award for just killing it one footed. We tookso many pictures and it took two days for everyone from NA to recover from partying. Eugene will remember NA for sure after that one. Click here for the pictures
MAY 21 2007 MONDAY
We where short handed with some of the NA team so we went up to Meadows when they where closed and had a session on the wall of the Cascade lift. Bugger, Jacob, Joel, Nate and Filmer Ethan was it for the people to session this feature, but we did get a few shots and some footage. Click here to check it out
MAY 11 2007 TUESDAY

The NA crew celebrated Cinco De Mayo by having the first skate photo shoot of the year. We rolled to a 9 stair in portland that our team rider "Z" wanted to get down with. Not everyone on the skate team sessioned the rail, but they where there in support as always. Click here to check it
APRIL 28 2007 TUESDAY
NA and the crew did a little Snowmodile trip to Mt. Adams yesturday and checked some things out. Team rider Corey Noble went off a huge cliff drop but we coiuldn't get super close because it was a Snowmobile boundary line. So we shot it from accross the canyon and thats why the shot is so far away. Click here to check it out.
APRIL 27 2007 TUESDAY
Go to http://www.snowboard-mag.com/node/21139 and check out the video up from the Grenade games with the NA team all over it. It was super fun and we held it down for 4/20. Lots of Northern Alliance team coverage all over the internet right now and be on the look out for the new Northern Alliance teaser coming out call "Hood Rich"
APRIL 25 2007 TUESDAY
Grenade games went on 4/20 and it was another crazy holiday just like last years. The event went down at Snoqualmie in Washington and probably will be the first and last time it's held there for many reasons. The gave out money for Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Rails, the most drinks comsumed, Chinese eyed downhill, and the best female rider. For the record Team Rider Matt Guess won the Chinese eyed down hill and even got interviewed for it, but the people giving out the prizes where so stoned that they gave the money to some other dude. Good one guys! Click here for the pictures.
APRIL 24 2007 TUESDAY
So NA decided to thank the team for killing it lately and winning pretty much every event that they enter. We have been getting a lot of coverage lately with our team. NA winning Shopwars, Corey noble at the Team Challenge and Super park, Meagan Ginter winning Nationals and getting invited to the Xgames, Johhnie and Matt winning Vegetate, and just all the coverage about NA on the internet. We needed to celebrate. Click here to see some pics from the BBQ

So we went and checked out the Mack Dawg Stepdown the other day. It was set up pretty good, but the snow sucked. So we where about to leave and go session another spot when we came accross a red sled that looked perfect to hit the stepdown with. So guess what? we did hit it and got some photo's to show. Click here

MARCH 18 2007 SUNDAY
Shop Wars went down at Snoqualmie Pass on the 17th of March and it was sick. 20 shops get invited to battle for a spot in the finals at Windells this summer. Northern Alliance, Exit, Mt. Baker Snowboard Shop, Nollies, Sno-con, and some others battled. Well our team came to win and thats excatly what we did. Northern Alliance got 1st place and Mt. Baker Snowboard Shop got 2nd place. Team rider Corey Noble got 1st in the big air, team rider Nick Jacobson got 2nd in the Rails, and team rider Matt Guess got 2nd in the Quarterpipe to make an overal 1st place victory for NA. Here are some pictures of the event. Click here
MARCH 14 2007 WEDNESDAY

It has been dumping up there and the Northern Alliance team has been playing in it. I'm sorry, but my camera broke and I haven't been able to get the pictures that you all want to see. However, Northern Alliance's Hiedi Adamsen did get a few shots with her camera and they look pretty cool. Click here
FEBRUARY 16 2007 FRIDAY
The Peanut Butter Rail Jam went off last Saturday and the NA Team was there in full effect. Team rider Matt Guess got 2nd, team rider Nick Jacobson got 3rd and then team rider Meagan Ginter got 1st. They all qualified for the finals coming up in April in Cali. They will be battling for around $10,000 in cash and prizes. Good job team NA!!
FEBRUARY 5 2007 MONDAY
The US Cellular Rail Jam went of on Saturday night in down town Bend and it was to say the least crazy. The set up was kinda wack with the drop-in going straight down to a 8 foot deck and then the rail. The lip to the rail was like a BMX jump, especially when a down bar rail should have no lip at all. Well I want to talk trash to the park crew for that big ass lip to the rail but there was noone really in charge except some blond haired surfer guy that got pissed everytime one of our crew said something about how wack that lip was. Anyways long story short, our team rider (Nick Jacobsen) got 3rd and won $500. Here are some pic's from the event, click here
JANUARY 19 2007 FRIDAY
So Portland got plenty of snow to play in and that's exactly what the NA crew did. After three days of straight sessioning Portland handrails and getting shut down by the Portland fuzz at a few spots, we have the pleasure to show you some of the pictures from those long, long nights. Click here
JANUARY 12 2007 FRIDAY
So we did our little trip to Bend backcountry and wow was it an eye opening experience, let's see where to begin. We had 6 snowmobiles and 12 people which we had to double up everyone and then one person had to be towed out to the backcountry. The first day we got there the weather was like a half rain half snow blizzard and we could barely get to any spots in the backcountry. The second day it was blue bird and we pretty much got out to the step down that we where going to hit, only to find out the there was a two inch ice layer on everything. One thing that did come out of day two was on the way back from the backcountry we found a sick tree jib that we all sessioned and got some shoots on. Day three we where suppose to meet up with some locals that where going to show us a barn to jib out in Lapine. They flaked, but we ended up going out their anyways and rallying out on the snowmobile out to Paulia's Peak and Devil's Horn. The snow sucked and we didn't want to take the chance so we never dropped any of the cliff's. We did fing a goal post sign which we set up a picnic table lip to and hit. Here are some of the shoots that we got on our trip of the tree jib and goal post sign jib. Click here
JANUARY 1 2007 SUNDAY
Wow everyone at Northern Alliance is so hung over. We hope everyone was safe and had a great New Years. We sure did here at NA.
DECEMBER 31 2006 SUNDAY
Happy New Year from everyone at Northern Alliance!. Keep checking out the website often because the Northern Alliance team is making some big moves and doing some big projects. We have a lot of trips planned in the next few weeks and you will see a ton of pictures from the travels. Now everyone, make sure you eat bread in the morning to absord all the alcohol that you'll be drinking tonight. Word! NA
DECEMBER 25 2006 MONDAY
Merry Christmas to everyone from Northern Alliance
DECEMBER 23 2006 SATURDAY
So the wind storm came last week and wrecked everything. I saw about 10 tree's fall in front of my face, which was pretty scary. Out of all that disaster, our team found a tree that was down and perfect to jib. The Tree is about 40 feet to the end and about a 25 foot drop to flats. The pictures do no justice to how gnarly this was, but check it out. Click here
DECEMBER 19 2006 SUNDAY
The Glacier Outburst Jam went of on Sunday and to say the least the Northern Alliance team riders killed it. Northern Alliance team rider Johnnie Paxson won hands down with other Northern Alliance team rider Matt Guess coming in a close second. The set up was a eight foot gap to a twnety foot picnic table, kinda with a little step up to it. Matt Guess was doing 450's on to the table and 270's out. Johhnnie Paxson did a half cab on to a front flip out, in only Johnnie style too. Here are some pic's of the event.
DECEMBER 16 2006 SATURDAY
It snowed in Sandy about two weeks ago and the Northern Alliance crew sessioned this wall ride in Sandy at the Elementary school. We set up two different features, one of them was so gnarly that no one hit it except Johnnie Paxson from the NA team. It was a kind of natural quarter pipe up a brick wall from a heater vent that started the quarter. We where doing 50 m.p.h car tow-ins and it was intense. It was so intense that one of our team members (Jerry Thompson) got almost ran over when he got sucked under the truck that was pulling him in to the feature. The other feature was a wall ride. It was really easy to build and to do but the pictures looked so sick. Scotty (The Body) Connerly gets plenty of props for the wall ride pictures. Thanks Scotty! Here are some pics from that session. Word NA
DECEMBER 14 2006 THURSDAY
Well I guess we are suppose to have the gnarliest wind storm in like 10 years tonight. It will probably be nothing like expected because that how it rolls, nothing like the forecast that is predicted. The weather guys on the news cannels literally get paid to guess the weather because I can guess the same ish that they do and probably be closer on target then them. By the way, I was suppose to ride this morning because I watched the news last night and the nice little news man said quote "10 to 18 inches over night". Well to say the least, I called the snow phone this morning and they said quote "34 degree's and heavy rain" oh and "7 inches of new snow under that rain". Well the qoute of the day is "F the weather guy!". One love Northern
DECEMBER 13 2006 WEDNESDAY
So i get to the snow shop @ 8 o'clocK, Right on time. I check the snow the phone's for all three local Hood resorts and, I hear rain, rain trying to turn to snow and, more rain. This is booty! These are the days I don't regret stayin inside and workin on regular ish. Nate tell's me he's going freestyle sledding and then doesn't show till like one in the afternoon. He then begins to heckle..."you haven't sold anything!?" " what have you been doing all day?" and I'm like "i've been studying this dvd." Those of you that haven't seen National Lapoon's Christmas Vacation do yourself a favor and just go out and buy the thing. I wish we sold it here at the shop but, I think you can swoop it up at any local video retailer. I dream of having a christmas just like Clark W. Griswold. Anyways, for those of you that didn't go out and brave the almost frozen tundra today. Don't sweat it,better days are to come. Much love friends...Jacob
DECEMBER 12 2006 TUESDAY
The snowbunny photo shoot was sick. We went to the snowbunny parking lot and there was a semi truck cargo container there and we destroyed it in every which way. Here are some pics from the session .
